Our aim is to provide you with an exceptional experience. Kindly review the following Terms and Conditions (‘T&Cs’) as they are integral to your Contract.
Office Hours
Unfollow Campervans Ltd. (Unfollow) is available weekdays during normal office hours.
Quotations
All prices and works estimated and set out in a quotation are simply estimates only and may be subject to alteration.
The Company reserves the right to alter and adjust the quotation where necessary in circumstances where the work and cost of materials required for the modification of the Vehicle has increased, and/or where the Customer requests different materials and/or additional modifications, and/or extra work is necessary to complete the modifications, goods and/or services quoted for.
If a specific part or product is not available and is needed for the continuation of the project, a suitable alternative may be purchased, sometimes at an extra cost to the Customer.
The Company accepts no responsibility and cannot be held liable for any extra work resulting from the discovery of previous poor repairs or age/rust related damage to the Vehicle. All discoveries will be notified to the Customer and priced accordingly. It is then up to the Customer to decide the course of action with the Vehicle.
Any significant changes to the pricing of a project will be notified to the Customer and agreed by both the Company and the Customer before any further work is completed.
Parking
The customers vehicle will be parked outside our workshop in the Marina Business Park in Cork City. Parking is entirely at the owners risk, Unfollow is not liable for any damage, theft, fines etc which might occur during the period the works are being carried out.
The vehicle must be brought in by the customer on the agreed day. of commencement of the works and must be collected immediately after the works have finished.
Payments
For part conversions the customer pays the agreed deposit before materials are ordered and before works commence. The remaining sum is due on the day the works have been completed.
The customers vehicle will only be released to the customer once full payment has been received by Unfollow.
Part Conversions (alterations to already converted vehicles)
While we take greatest care when carrying out works on already converted camper vans, Unfollow does not accept responsibility for any damage to the vehicle or its interior. This is because we don’t know the structure of the van built nor the quality of the materials used. Part conversions are generally carried out without warranty.
The customer delivers the vehicle empty with clear access to all areas works are being planned in.
If the scope of the part conversion includes any alterations to the gas installation the customer must get a gas inspection done by a registered gas installer (RGI) before use. It might be necessary for certain alterations to get the camper van inspected by an engineer (SQI), Unfollow will advise you on the necessary steps. The part conversion might change the weight of the vehicle, Unfollow does not accept responsibility for over weight/loss of payload capacity.
Sale of converted camper vans
From time to time Unfollow offers already converted camper vans for sale. Generally and if not otherwise stated, those vehicles come with the necessary engineers certificate and gas inspection done. If VRT (vehicle registration tax) is paid is clearly stated in the offer. While we are welcoming any inspections, Unfollow’s converted second hand vehicles are sold without warranty on the vehicle.
Inspection/Hand Over
- Once the Vehicle is finished, Unfollow carries out a pre-delivery inspection and a walkthrough with the Customer to confirm everything is up to standard and explain all the functions.
RISK OF LOSS
- The risk of loss or damage to Goods shall pass to the Customer upon delivery of the Goods.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- The Customer shall fully indemnify the Company against any liability to third parties arising out of the Customer’s use of the modified Vehicle.
FORCE MAJEURE
- Unfollow shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to stock/material delays, acts of God, natural disaster, strikes, lock outs or other industrial action, civil riot, accidents, illness, disease, pandemic, war, fire, interference with ordinary means of transport and infrastructure, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a source of supply, and the party shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
DISCLAIMER
- Measurement and Shape of all hand-made items may vary slightly from those planned. Works carried out are bespoke and due to the nature of materials (such as wood, paint etc.), slight imperfections along with colour and grain variations between individual pieces might occur.
INSURANCE
- The Customer must maintain their own insurance policy for the duration of their Vehicle being under Unfollow’s control.
- The Company will not be liable for any loss of property or Vehicle costs in the event of theft or damage.
- The Customer is notified that Vehicles are left with Unfollow at their own risk.
GOVERNING LAW
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The Company reserves the right to review, revise or change and these Terms & Conditions (in whole or in part) or the content of the Website from time to time and at any time.
